Chamber Presents Donation to Odenville Fire Department
The Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented a check in the amount of $24, 688.52 to Chief David Davis and the Odenville Fire Department for the fundraising proceeds from Saturday’s Odenville Car Show at their November meeting. The chamber would like to thank all participants and sponsors to make this car show possible with over 30 vendors and a host of sponsors including the City of Odenville, the Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce, Angler Recycling, Paul Perry Alfa Agency, Vision Alabama, Cayce Wilson State Farm, New Hammer Services, Alabama Roofing Professionals, America’s First Federal Credit Union, All American Ford, Odenville Drugs, Stopwatch Urgent Care, Mustang Museum of America, Odenville Auto Parts/Carquest, Lovejoy Realty, Plumb One, Southern Acre Wholesale & Rental, Motorvations Motorsports, HnR Plumbing, Alpha Automotive, Blue House Realty, Four Star Homes, LLC, Draggin Pinstriping & Airbrush Art, Custom Plumbing, Toadally Tan, Caliber Art & Graphics, Judy Kirkland ERA King Realty, Skidmore Sign Company, Crossroads Nutrition, Jack’s Odenville, Metro Bank, Line of Fire, Paul Davis, Charlie’s BBQ, Images in Ink, Oak Ridge Power Equipment, JB Automotive Specialist, Katering 101 and Big Springs Dental. Odenville Auto Parts/Carquest stepped up and made an additional donation to bring the total proceeds from this fundraiser to the fire department of $25k. The St. Clair County High School JROTC program was the focus of the meeting. These students led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Director, Vicki L. Glover, AI, SFC(R) was the main speaker who shared information about the program and how valuable it is to students. One of the students also spoke about her experience in the program. SCCHS JROTC Program attendees included Cadet SGT Cody Johnson, Cadet SFC Gavin Bailey, Cadet MAJ Erica Murray, SFC (R) Vicki Glover, AI, PV2 Sara Jo Gilmore, Cadet 2LT Zachary Moore, 2LT Issac Ponce.
