We would like to thank Johnny and Judy Kirkland for speaking at our August meeting.  We had a good crowd and a great time learning more about Backpack Buddies of St. Clair County. Chamber President Paul Perry, on behalf of the Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce, presented a check to the Kirklands' in the amount of $500 for a donation to Backpack Buddies. "Thank you Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce for your generous donation to Backpack Buddies/Ragland, Ashville schools & Moody elementary! It was such an honor to be able to speak to neighborhood leaders about the thing we are so passionate about! Thank you all for your support and interest in Backpack Buddies! It takes a large group of us to accomplish what we do. If you would like to learn more about feeding kids who have food challenges at home please reach out!" shared Judy Henson Kirkland.
