Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce Presents $36k to Local Non-Profits

The Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of presenting Odenville Car Show proceeds of $36,000 to St. Clair County Athletic Booster Club and St. Clair County High School Band Boosters, who were the beneficiaries of this year’s fundraising efforts. The money was split between the two organizations with each receiving a check for $18,000 at the November Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce meeting.

2023 was the 5th car show for the City of Odenville and it was another successful event that joined hundreds of classic cars with possibly thousands from the Odenville Community to raise money for these two worthy organizations. This year's event was held on Saturday, October 21 at St. Clair County High School and the weather could not have been more beautiful. The crisp morning gave way to a breezy fall day that brought hundreds of classic hot rods, trucks and muscle cars. Local food and snack vendors were able to satisfy every palette and some 30+ vendor booths allowed people to sample the wares of local business people. The whole purpose of the show was to raise money for the school organizations and the sponsors, vendors, and local community showed out by doing their part to raise an amazing $36,000! This money will help with uniforms and much-needed sports supplies.

The Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce and the City of Odenville would like to express their appreciation to everyone who made this event such a huge success. Next year’s event date and beneficiaries will be announced soon.

St. Clair County District Attorney, Lyle Harmon, was the November guest speaker and the meeting was well attended. The next chamber of commerce event will be Monday, December 11 at 11:30 a.m. which is the annual Christmas luncheon. Each attendee is asked to bring an unwrapped toy for Odenville Cops for Kids. A festive program is planned to celebrate the holidays together. The Odenville Christmas Parade is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. For more information about the Greater Odenville Chamber of Commerce, please visit https://odenvillechamber.com or contact Chamber President Paul Perry at (205) 919-7903.
