About Our Speaker:

Doug Morrison is employed by the City of Springville as the Manager for the Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve, a 422 acre Forever Wild property located in Springville. Doug served as a volunteer as President of a nonprofit, The Friends of Big Canoe Creek, for 12 years from 2008-2020. During this time, he helped guide the nomination of the property to Forever Wild in 2009. It took 9 years for the property to be purchased that involved many people which he will talk about among other things.
